| 2021 | 01 | 02 | clothes + beauty spending | #nobuy

In the spirit of my 'sort of low buy, barely no buy' 2021 I've been reviewing 2020 as a benchmark.

Interestingly, I bought 68 items across the year (this includes socks, hats, gloves etc).

The total was £1220.38 - though at the time of writing I have just purchased a new coat that I may or may not end up keeping.

That leaves a total of around £100 a month on clothes.

I've decided that across 2021 I will allow £40 per month for new clothes and I have to have a two week waiting period prior to purchase. Planning yo. I'm hoping that I won't need to do this.

My beauty spend has been a bit more.... well a bit more.

I don't feel proud of myself here.

£2200. That's £180ish.

I need to bring that right down so I'm putting a hardcore spending limit on that.

£30 for beauty.

£20 for hair.

I've divided these sections down as hair needs to include haircuts and other tools and I'm interested how they compare and contrast.

same rules apply with regard to wish lists.

Sigh. Here we go.
