This is the end of an amazing week.
Being able to walk properly again is great. I've got a new level of respect for people who are stuck on crutches for 6 weeks. It was an experience I couldn't even handle for one.
We went swimming for the first time in years on the hottest day of the year and it was so refreshing. We're looking at doing a triathlon at some point in the future.
Did I mention that's on the list?
I've started taking steps to really push my training for the next few months, and will be entering a couple of half marathons later on this year (I'm also going for a marathon too).
The weekend was Henley Royal Regatta.
I love seeing everyone getting properly dressed up. Especially the boys who usually roam around in trackies and mis-matched socks.
We did the usual snacks and pimms before catching a bus into Henley. I feel for anyone who isn't participating in the day out - it must be horrible to be actually trying to get something done when everyone is drunk and stumbling around town.
