My loan came in this week. So by Wednesday I was already back in my overdraft (as per); rent, bills and the small deficit worked up over Christmas. Thanking the world for temp jobs!

I also submitted the first chapter of my Dissertation. It's kind of terrifying.

Finally got to see the latest Hunger Games film with Trevor - reading the book set me up nicely for my slip in attention at around the hour mark. We're both little nerds at heart.

Yesterday, Trev went back to Uni. Sad faces all around, but we went for a lovely meal with his family in Prezzo Friday night. To be quite honest I'm going to miss seeing his dog more than him ;).

Netflix:: I don't know if my love-love relationship will flip to the dark side anytime soon, but as I should really get back to revision it probably wouldn't be for the worst.

Sun:: Everyone looks like they could do with a good dose of Vitamin D - you can see the post New Years blues has hit them hard.

Neal's Yard:: Oh. If you want gift inspiration then look no further. I think I'm going to be buying all my presents for friends and family here, just because everything smells edible [I've learnt over the past year not to actually eat my skincare regime, and the nail varnish remover really hammered that home].

Escentric Molecules Perfumes:: I am a complete sucker for fragrance. Molecule 01 has a very special place in my heart and smelling it brings back all kind of fun memories. Molecules 02 and 03 are just as gorgeous, but I've yet to wear them during some life changing activities. They're quite an acquired taste, but when I have the funds they will be top of my 'to buy' list. [This is purple so my boyfriend reads it and takes note. I can't think why...]

Jams and Chutneys:: My mum used to make us jam from the pears in the garden and would sometimes expand out into other fruit. I miss having homemade produce in the cupboards and hopefully can have a whirl over summer (and infused honey etc. etc.).

I was terrified, but he said he needed a quick workout mid revision.
As of Monday, my new years resolution is to not buy any more beauty products until I've used up what I've got. This means I'll be posting empties. Or it means I should be, but I have a lot of products I bought over the past few months that I haven't even got round to reviewing. Bear with.

Mileage
Monday - 5 miles. Trevor, his youngest brother and I went for another of our adventurous night time jogs. It was here that my cough decided to make a beautiful arrival and I spent the return journey alternating between running and spluttering. We got to watch Frozen though.
Wednesday - 1 mile. I'm really falling behind.
Sunday - 5 miles. Treadmill. If avoiding cold air for my lungs means treadmill trundling then I'd better suck it up and download some audio-books.

On another note, I'm definitely lifting heavier. Man muscles here we come.

I CAN'T REMEMBER IF I MENTIONED THAT I'M RUNNING A HALF MARATHON IN A FEW MONTHS AND I'M VERY SCARED. IT'S GOING TO BE A LONG WAY.
